Hello all! So glad you can join me today! I have been waiting and waiting to finally get this blog together and to begin sharing all of my culinary ideas, entertaining ideas with the world. So here it goes… This is what you all have been waiting for…… drum roll please…..

Almost every one of my friends asks me for this recipe for what my son calls “Moms Famous Meatballs”.  This is a great meatball recipe!
I take these to every event, as my friends demand it! LOL!
Appetizer by Jen:

1-2 pounds of meatballs, you make or buy.. I use Party meatballs from Trader joes.. usually takes about 2 bags but any meatballs will work as long as they are cooked thru and browned, they will be great!

Mix in sauce small sauce pan:
1 bottle bbq sauce, any kind
1/3 c soy sauce
2-4 tbsp of red raspberry jam or strawberry will work (this is to your taste)
2 tbsp of ketchup (I usually just squeeze the bottle over the pan for a couple seconds)
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ tsp garlic

Heat this sauce mix on medium until heated through, when it bubbles you’ll know it is carmelizing just enough.. and stir a few times.

Brown your meatballs in seperate pan.

Add meatballs and sauce mixture to crockpot.

Cook thru on low for 4 hours. Stir occasionally. Meatballs will be soft and flavored through with the sauce flavors!

Enjoy! These meatballs are amazing, thus magnificent and magical… the sauce is so yummy and satisfying, men, women and children will jump to the table to enjoy these!!
The best part is.. the sauce is very inexpensive to make!!!
