Welcome to summer time! School is out! YAY! I had to post a super easy snack I give my kids all the time. They love it and it is very inexpensive yet healthy all the same!

Perfect Peanut Butter Banana Boats!

What you need:

1 medium size banana
2 tbsp Peanut butter or almond butter or soy butter

Simply slice your banana long ways and cut it in a “v” longways as if you are removing a long slice that can be placed back on top again after you add the peanut butter to the middle. This slice that is removed is set to the side and is kind of like laying a “hat” back on your banana. Spread your butter of choice in the middle and then lay the top “hat” back on the banana.
You can simply eat as is, or wrap the banana in saran wrap and chill it in the fridge. The kids love it when it is chilled on a hot day..

Super easy, healthy and fun! You can even have the kids help you, they can spread their own peanut butter or add nuts or cranberries or raisins to the top before you add the “hat”.
